What is Light·Mix® Peat Free?
Light·Mix® Peat Free is designed to provide gardeners, growers, and horticultural professionals with an alternative to traditional peat-based substrates whilst still providing you with control over your plants.
It gets the vital micro activity going as the water works with the soil, producing organic catalysts that rapidly develop root structures. This helps roots access both air and water, which is crucial for robust plant growth.
Peat free composition
The ingredients of this growing medium are carefully chosen to emulate the beneficial properties of peat, such as lightness, aeration, and water retention.
Light·Mix® Peat Free is a blend that contains components like coir (coconut fiber), wood fiber, composted bark, miscanthus, perlite, and other organic materials.
How to use it
When using Light·Mix® Peat Free you can apply larger nutrient doses to any kind of plant, including heavy feeders, without the risk of overloading the soil and causing a nutrient burn – indicated by yellowing and crunchy, burnt tips on the leaves.
