What is All·Mix® Peat Free ?
All·Mix® Peat Free is an innovative alternative to peat-based growing media which does most of the work for you and creates the optimum environment for plants to flourish throughout the year.
This heavily pre-fertilized substrate mixture emulates a rich outdoor soil with a full micro active ecosystem. It’s been designed to have enough nutrient-fuelled power to sustain lush growth for a couple of weeks, without any need to add any extra fertilizer.
Peat free composition
The nutrients in this substrate come from organic elements rather than mineral salts such as magnesium or sulfates that you might find in synthetic fertilizers.
This entirely peat-free substrate, is composed of alternative organic materials. These materials include composted bark, coir (coconut fiber), perlite, miscanthus and other components.
How to use it
When using All·Mix® Peat Free for the first time, moisten it with water and leave to stand for 36 hours. This gives the nutrients and microorganisms inside the substrate a chance to start working their magic before the plants goes in.
It is essential that the soil is kept slightly warm at all times is essential for getting the best out of your growing medium in order to maintain a suitable level of microbial activity.
