What is Coco·Mix?
No, we’re not talking about chocolate bars here! Biobizz Coco·Mix is a light and airy coco coir substrate.
It’s made from waste materials left over by the coconut industry, which has proven to be an ideal medium for growing plants.
To become this famous substrate, the coco coir matter is first decomposed over a period of time to soften the strong fibres. It is then washed in clear water, dried, and shredded to become light and airy Coco·Mix – which contains little moisture and a nautral pH.
Coco has become a very popular cultivation method because of its similarities to Hydroponics without the backbreaking costs of maintaining a large system.
How to use it
Coco·Mix can be used in all Hydroponic crops to replace rock wool. Simply fill small pots with Coco·Mix and treat them like plugs.
It is also compatible with all types of nutrients and can also be used to refresh soil mixtures and improve aeration.
